Main Strategy - Site approach

The main strategy I used during the development of this site is creativity and simplicity. I aimed to create a simple design that is different and attracts the eyes and leaves a positive imprint on our visitors' mind. Our different pastel colours that are applied in the background of my site are a representation of creativity, and the different colours of nailpaint you can find in my store. The persona of my customer base is mainly people who love bold, different colours, as well those who favor a nice aesthetic over the classic site looks.

Target Audience

Our Targeted customers are mainly females from any nationality living in the UAE aged 18 and over, as we offer online payment that needs a credit card, as well as we target a secondary group which are females in the rest of the world as we offer worldwide shipping. We aim to satisfy the needs of different cultures that welcome different nail colours, with a diverse colour variety from basic nudes to royal blues, to satisfy all the needs and wants of our diverse audience.  Further, the income of our audience is medium to high, as our prices are not considered cheap because of the highly reputable brands we offer.

Site Intuitivity and User Experiece

We worked very hard to make our site as intuitive as possible, as we added menus on different corners of the website to always offer accessibility wherever you were on the page (a basic menu on the header, a lightbox menu when you press the pinned bars on the top right corner, and another basic menu on the footer.) Further, we added an automatic lightbox that offers a one-time discount of 10% upon registering for our newsletter, as well as created an automated e-mail to be sent to the registered e-mail immediately after submission. Also, we added a Wix Chat box that connects directly to my e-mail that allows us to reply to any questions we receive as soon as possible, as well as ask the visitors to submit a form with their e-mails so that we can contact them even after they leave the site.

Moreover, we added anchors on our homepage that divide it into different sections with a brief description as well as hyperlinks connecting them to secondary pages that offer an extended detailed version of the information the visitors are aiming to find. Also, we pinned our logo on the top left corner that is hyperlinked to allow our visitors to directly go back to the homepage when clicked.

In regards of the Shop genre, we added a sliding strip of all our products on our homepage “Shop” anchor, as well as there is a link directly connecting it to the All Products page. In the All Products page, I included filtering and sorting options that help our visitors find what they are looking for faster.

Also, we added social media links pinned on the top right corner to allow people to directly share and follow our social media from anywhere they are in the site. We also depend heavenly on the back-to-top pages to make it easier to go back to the top of the page without having the visitor scroll back up relentlessly.
