Market Research and User Experience

The main approach for this website is that I wanted to build an online store that provide people with classic jerseys from their favorites team in football, NBA (national basketball association) and NFL (national football league) as sport fan myself seeing or owning a classic jersey feels amazing mainly if that jersey was worn when a team won a cup or league title so knowing this I know what would they customers who visit feel when they see their favorite jerseys in our store, all the jerseys available in our store have a story that make it special like the 2006 Italy jersey that was worn when they won the world cup or the Michael Jordan 97-98 jersey which was the jersey worn by him when he won his final NBA title and all the others jersey in store have great stores.

For Classicjerseys our main target customers are sport fans mainly fans of football, NBA and NFL, gender wise our customers are mainly males and age wise we mainly targeted fans over the age of 25 the reason for that is most of the jerseys that are available in store are from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s so the people who are younger than the age of 25 might not share the same love or passion toward those jerseys like people who lived through that time and another reason why we are mainly targeting customer above the age of 25 is that those jerseys are not cheap so a younger sport fan might not feel that those jerseys are worth that amount because it doesn’t feel that special for them as they didn’t experience the same thing as the older fans who live through that time period and witnessed the greatness might feel.

For website design it’s a simple design the customer enters the website to homepage that has a slide show first slide it introduce the store the name and small description then it moves to the next slide which shows that we have NBA classic jerseys and button that will take a customer to the entire list of NBA jersey and I did the same thing for Football and NFL in the other slides, the reason for putting a slideshow on the homepage is that I didn’t want to have a plain homepage with only welcoming message I want the customer to know what we offer straight away rather than the customer having to waste their time trying to find out what the store offers, the website consist of four main pages the homepage, jerseys page which is divide into three pages one for each sport, about us page the introduce the customer to mission and goals for the store and contact us page that allow the customer to send in his questions and requests in they have any.
